New Sofa and Coffee Table..finally

Finally finally finally, we will be having our self chosen sofa and coffee table.. Choo’s condo’s leather sofa has some areas torn and will be taking Yong’s sofa to use..hoho…

That means, we can buy our own sofa liao!! Yong will take the coffee table nearing end of year to his CONDO…but since we’ll be shopping for sofa, might as well buy the coffee table… can get more discounts like that. Oh, he’ll be taking the projector TV with him too. Hope he don’t change his mind ah.. Scali I go buy TV liao then he say he not taking then I’l strangle him lor!

Made our purchases from The Furniture Club (International Furniture Centre at Sungei Kadut).

The back rest can be adjusted…seats can be moved further to the front to have more “cross-leg” space.. 3 cushions will be given and will be in dark brown felt cloth.

This is the actual colour for our sofa…We chose the fabric colour that is similar to Yong’s sofa though cos it’s reallyquite matching to the colour theme in our house…

This is the coffee table we bought. Smaller than Yong’s, so that won’t eat up so much space in the living room. It has tinted black glass, stainless steel texture and walnut solid wood by the sides of the table (forgot to take side profile of the table). So I guess it’s quite matching to our living room cos the TV console has black tinted black mirror, dining table is made of walnut solid wood and the stainless steel can match the new sofa base!!

Will be delivered on 1 August 2009. Oh, it’ll be officially 1 year since we collected our keys! That’s super fast…

Finally got out study table from V.Hive. After discount is slighthy over $300…1.6m table so that it’ll be long enough for both of us…

Table arrives before 3 pm and they are gone in less than 15 min…

Haha..colour similar hor.. but it’s really quite difficult to find a suitable and nice table you know!!

Merry Christmas!! Today is the day for 安床 finally…shortly after, we had a small x’mas cum “move-in” celebration together with Chinsy…

I was there early so I ironed the quilt cover, pillow cases and bolster case.. Dd’s papa & mama dropped by our place and helped us with 安床.

Yipee!! Can sleep on the comfy bed tonight 了!

Late afternoon, we headed to JP1′s Pizza Hut and JP2′s NTUC Extra to buy our X’mas feast…

Tada… Yummy yummy food!

Full full liao.. Time for exchange of gifts!!

Chin got a pouch for her mouse from me, a Pooh cup from Dd…

D got a aroma holder from Chin and a pair of boxer shorts from me…

I got a bracelet and a earring (how come never take photo I also can’t recall) and a Pooh from Dd…

We had fun!! c”,)

Bedframe, mattress and all are delivered on a Saturday…

But 安床 date is on the 25th Dec.. so we left the mattress and all in bedroom 2 first…

The guys from Hong Ming reached our place quite late.. 4 plus in the afternoon if I didn’t remember wrongly…

In future when we remove the blinds for washing, the strings have to be secured on the grilles in case somebody pulled the long string on the right..if that happens then I don’t know how to fix back the strings to the track!!

Sunday morning…just woke up and watching Doraemon… Sat night was busy connecting the cables for TV, DVD player and Wii… all hidden in the TV console so it’s really very challening!!

Car Rental day… 11-12 Dec 08

Rented a car to shift alot of things from Dd’s hse and mine… also drove his Ah Ma over to view our house…

We have so many things to tidy up after 1 whole day of shifting things..so we took the old mattresses from mummy’s hse and slept at our new hse… This is the temporary bed haha..

Dining table was delivered around 11am…

Papa brought Darren over ard 1pm… He’s so happy to be here..haha..

Soon the window films guys are here too…

Kong Tai delivered the fridge, washing machine, microwave, fan & DVD recorder today!

Cabinet doors are opened cos we just cleaned the interiors and have to make sure they are dry before we close them.. Anyway we need to air it cos got abit smell..

Haha..messy bedroom 3..cos we dumped all our stuff there.. more to come… more to unpack…
